Adeste Fideles

Music and lyrics by John Francis Wade (PD)

Nadine White - Cascade autoharp by Pete Daigle. Whithorn, Scotland.

This arrangement is for a diatonic autoharp, playing across the keys of D and A. The original Latin words have been discovered to include coded Scottish Jacobite references to the birth of the Catholic 'Bonnie Prince Charlie'. For example, the Latin reference to 'Regem Angelorum' could translate as both 'king of angels' or... 'king of the Angles (English)'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adeste_Fideles
